Product Description
Most people in Botswana know morula as a fruit you pick up off the ground, or as the thing elephants cannot leave alone. Fewer have had it as jam. This is that: morula pulp cooked down into a preserve that keeps the fruit’s natural tartness rather than burying it in sugar. Divine Morula is a woman owned business founded by Mme Matsetse Matilda Mpai. It began with morula oil for skincare and grew into food once she understood how much nutritional value was sitting in the pulp. The company now collects morula and mmilo with community harvesters each season and is a partner to the Department of Forestry in the Ministry of Environment. Morula carries roughly eight times the vitamin C of oranges. Good on toast, folded into yoghurt, or served with cheese. Made in Botswana by Divine Morula.
