The label promises two things: it strengthens and it shines. Safflower oil is light. That matters more in hair care than anywhere else, because heavy oils sit on the scalp and weigh hair down. This absorbs instead, which makes it usable between washes rather than only on wash day. Safflower is grown in Botswana as a drought tolerant crop being developed with smallholder farmers, so this is a genuinely local ingredient rather than an imported one in a local bottle.
