I am a young Botswana-born spoken word poet, author, corporate MC, Founder of AmSmart Book Club, and recently appointed Botswana liaison for GEM Institute. Through AmSmart Book Club, I have mentored and helped eight young people become published authors.
I have authored four award-winning books, including:
– The Stillness of My Dying Star (Best Poetry Book, Botswana Literature Awards)
– Calm (Best Inspirational Book, African Honouree Awards, South Africa)
– The Silence is Heavier (Best Non-Fiction Book, Muhler Forter African Literature)
– Mine is Not Blind, which will be launched on 28th February 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
My work has been featured in local media such as The Midweek Sun, Kutlwano Magazine, and Botswana Daily News. I have also spoken on platforms like BTV, Yarona FM, RB2, and the Women by Design session at the 7th Annual Women & Girls Gathering. Internationally, I have appeared in She Glows Magazine (Zimbabwe) and The Kenyan Times. In addition, I have collaborated on several occasions with Kanye MYSC projects and the National Arts Council.
